OC3 Physiotherapist Featured in Ottawa Mommy Club blog post

Check out Jules Sherlock’s (Ottawa postpartum fitness guru of Fitness with Jules) blog post on Ottawa Mommy Club’s website: “House of Cores“, featuring Shelagh Haynes, registered physiotherapist. The post details the importance of postpartum rehabilitation, from the inside out, after the changes a woman’s body goes through during pregnancy and delivery. Jules uses a clever metaphor of the body like a rental unit (in this case, space is being rented out to a growing baby for 9 months) to help us to envision the maintenance or upkeep that is required to keep our bodies structurally sound and comfortable to live in.

If you are interested in postpartum rehabilitation options, check out Shelagh’s postpartum yoga program, or contact OC3 to set up an appointment with her – call 613-230-7891 or email [email protected]
