Megan Abraham, PT
Megan graduated from McGill University in June 2012 with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. She also holds a Master of Art with a specialization in Sports Management and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Human Kinetics, both from the University of Ottawa. Her years at university and cooperative training with practice leading professionals have instilled a firm commitment to combine new and evolving research with proven treatments for superior patient care. Since graduating, Megan has worked in Ottawa in private out-patient clinics where her focus is to return clients to full function by combining manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription. In an effort to evolve her knowledge and skill set, Megan pursues evidenced-based postgraduate courses which will include level 2 manual therapy this fall and winter.
Megan is a passionate advocate for healthy living and is committed to promoting and educating others on the benefits of living a healthy, active lifestyle for the prevention of illness and injury and for overall health and wellness. Sports and fitness have always been a big part of Megan’s life and she enjoys time at the gym, cycling, running, swimming and hiking.
